Our annual closedown will be from September 6th through the 12th. We will
re-open on Monday, September 13th. During this time our members are welcome
to use the reciprocal agreement we have with the Prairie Dunes Country Club for
dining. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The travelogue series begins on Tuesday, September 21st with a presentation by
Hassan and his family on his daughter, Jasmine's Egyptian wedding earlier this year.
On Tuesday, October 19th, Jason Becker will share his experiences of biking for
four months and 7400 miles across the African Continent.

We will continue to be open for dinner from 5:00 pm through 8:00 pm, Monday
through Saturday. The only exception is travelogue nights when we do not open until
6:00 pm. We will also continue with the daily drink specials; however we have
changed Tuesday nights to be $4 margarita nights. Click on the drink specials button
on the calendar for more details.

Don't forget to take advantage of the discounts for booking your holiday parties
early. We are offering a 10% food discount for parties booked before September
15th and a 5% food discount for parties booked before October 15th. This applies to
private holiday parties only.

I would like to thank everyone for their wonderful comments on my upcoming
retirement next June. It truly has been my pleasure being your manager all of these
years. The board of directors and I will be working closely in the coming months to
ensure the club will continue to be successful for many years to come. The
membership's comments and suggestions are always needed and welcomed. Soon
you will be receiving a survey from the board of directors. It is important that you
complete and return this survey to the office as soon as possible. We want to make
sure we are improving areas of the club that are of the most concern to the
membership.
